Driving under an influence simulator, This is an visual an interactive educational tool. It is designed to promote alcohol & substance abuse awareness.
A great add on to this event are Fatal Vison Goggles – Walk the line! When Fatal Vision night goggles are worn, they allow an individual the opportunity to experience the dangers of being impaired (under night conditions) from drugs or alcohol without suffering the real consequences. Individuals are able to have a first hand account of impairment of coordination and judgment.
Students may attempt a standard field sobriety test WALK-THE-LINE, dribble a basketball, and play catch while wearing the goggles. |
