| Reno Brothers |
|
 |
The Reno Brothers carry a tradition and a legacy like no other act in Bluegrass Music; The Reno Name. Don Wayne, Dale and Ronnie are sons of the late and great Don Reno, the acknowledged innovator of the three finger roll on the five string banjo, and the co-auther of the classic theme from the movie Deliverance...Dueling Banjos. The Reno Brothers deliver one of the most versatile music programs, reflecting on their past and current music styles. Ronnie, who played for many years as part of the pioneering Bluegrass group, The Osborne Brothers, and who went on as part of the legendary Merle Haggard Show, heads up the Reno Brothers. His exposure to many styles of acoustic and country music brings a unique sound to the Brother's performances. The Reno Brothers feature much of Don Reno's style and catalogue of music that he created, but additionally, they have developed their own style which includes acoustic swing and Bluegrass with intricate vocal harmonies and outstanding musicianship. |
